Injuries are apart of snowboarding unfortunately, what has been your worse slam?

From what I remember... I caught my heels riding away from a 40 foot jump (so moving pretty fast) did half a backflip to my head, there was a group of people standing on the next jump knuckle who heard my head hit the ground. I broke my helmet and it felt like a stun grenade went off inside my head, I ended up tearing some ligaments in my neck and having a concussion.

Why do you ride for Yuki?

I really like that yuki is trying to do their part and make the snowboard industry more sustainable while making rad products!

Any Advice for up and commers getting after it?

Take your time learning foundations. Skipping steps will only make you frustrated when trying to learn harder things later. Also manage your risks. It’s not cool to do something that’s out of your ability and get broken off, because then you can’t snowboard.. and some injuries last for life.
